So I (Tom) was going to London together with my dad. We were very unexperienced flyers, so we arrived around 2 hours before the flight departed at the airport. The gate would open 40 minutes before departure, so we were really early. When we finally could get to the gate we had to wait a while and all the passengers of the inbound flight still had to get off the plane. When we finally were able to board the plane, we got a nice seat right behind the wing. It was my first time flying so I was excited a lot.
We didn't have to taxi far at both airports. We had a very pleasant flight and there weren't any problems.
Although I don't remember a lot of it anymore as it's almost 2 years ago when I'm writing this, I did find out that we took off from runway 27 at Amsterdam, and landed on runway 22 at Stansted.
