I (Tom) use a Nikon Coolpix P510. I've got a HAMA Canberra 100 Colt camera bag and a additional EN-EL5 battery, which is very handy. I've got a 8 GB memory card from a local store, and a 16 GB Sandisk Extreme memory card. I bought the 16 GB because the 8 GB was full reasonably fast and I think it was good that I bought it. For checking Flightradar24 and runway usage and that kind of stuff during spotting I use a Samsung Galaxy S3, and I also have an additional battery for that, because the one I got with it was empty very quick, after like 6 hours or something.
